What the system is and what problem it solves?

The Aytok Disc Filtration System is a high-efficiency mechanical filtration unit designed to remove suspended solids from water in industrial, agricultural, and commercial applications. Using a disc-stack cartridge, the system captures fine particles that could damage downstream equipment, reduce flow, or cause fouling in irrigation and process-water systems.

It is suitable for feedwater containing sand, silt, organic matter, or fine debris where reliable pre-filtration is required before RO systems, pumps, nozzles, or distribution networks.

Process Design & Operating Philosophy

Disc filtration relies on tightly compressed polymer discs with grooved patterns that trap particles as water passes through the cartridge. The grooves form a depth-filtration channel, providing high dirt-holding capacity and stable performance even under variable flow conditions.

The filtration cartridges are available in disc or screen formats, depending on particle size and application needs. The system operates at moderate pressure and requires periodic manual or automated cleaning to restore flow capacity.
